In order for us to live at our highest potential, it is important that we have a larger vision for our lives – and moreover, that we’re actually tuned into this particular vision, which is nothing less than a unique pattern of perfection held within the mind of God.

And instead of vision, we may also use the word “dream.” Dream and vision are interchangeable here as they both point not only to the limitless possibilities that are seeking to express in our lives, but they also point towards our very reason for being here on this planet at this particular time in human history.

I recently wrote about the topic of dreams in another article, which you can find here. But just to briefly recap, what I basically pointed out was that your dreams do not come from your rational mind. So often people tend to think that a dream is just some lofty concept of how we’d like our lives to be. So while you may come across some people that might support your dream, there will invariably be those that will tell you something along the lines of, “You’ve got to be realistic.” Or “You better have a good backup plan in case it doesn’t work out.” Or “That’s cute, but maybe you should just play it safe.” Or any other of the countless versions of these kind of statements.

But what these well-meaning individuals do not realize is that, as I’ve indicated, our dreams do not come from our rational mind. Our dreams come to us straight from our Source. Our dreams come to us from the Ineffable Love Intelligence that governs the universe and that permeates everything in existence. They are Divine Gifts that have been imparted upon us. Or, as I like to put it, our dreams are our Soul talking to us, reminding us of what we set out to do when we were born into this realm of time and space.

And as that realization begins to take hold in our awareness, we begin to see that inherent within the dream itself are the very mechanics for its fulfillment.

Now, this is a big one. A really big one. Huge, actually! In fact, I would suggest you pause and allow yourself to just take that in for a moment. Move into your Soul Space, and allow this particular statement to take root in your awareness:

Inherent within every dream are the very mechanics for its fulfillment.

In other words, there is no question about whether or not a dream is “possible.” The truth is, the dream and what’s required for it to manifest are two sides of the same coin! You could not have the dream if there wasn’t already a way for it to come into your experience.

Walt Disney famously said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” And that is so very true. So with this higher awareness, you are to no longer give thought as to whether or not it can be done, it’s already done in the mind of God! It’s your job to simply open yourself up to it, to make yourself available.

Furthermore, you need not be concerned with how it’s going to happen. The truth is “how” is not your business. Your business is to say “yes!” Your business is to make that sacred declaration that you are going to do what you came here to do. Your business is to make yourself available to that which is seeking to emerge in you, through you, as your very life!

How a particular dream will come true is not your business. Your business is merely to say YES, to make yourself available!

Once you’ve said yes, the Universe will handle the “how.” The Universe is basically saying, “No worries, I’ve got you covered! Are you ready? I’m serious. Are you, like, really ready?”

And your reply to that is to be, “Yes! Yes, I am ready! Yes, I am available! Yes, I am willing! Yes, let’s do this! Bring it on, baby!” And you might want to throw in a whoo-hoo or two. Remember, following your dream is not some hit or miss type endeavor. Following your dream is your joyous and holy responsibility. It’s your declaration to the Universe that you’re going to do what you came here to do, and the world will be a better place because of it.

Now, it’s important to really feel it. Feeling it is the most important part because you’re working with energy here. How you feel is how you vibrate. And how you vibrate determines the energy you’re giving out. And the energy you’re giving out will draw to you more of that same kind of energy. As more of that particular energy comes to you, it begins to coagulate into physical experience.

So your intention is become a vibratory field of such overflowing joy, of such goodness, of such anticipation, that you will spontaneously begin to magnetize more good into your life than you’ve ever imagined! In other words, as you embody the consciousness of your dreams coming true, you will draw to you all the people, all the resources, and all the opportunities that are needed for you to actually have that very experience. This is, of course, why Jesus the Christ advises us that, “When you pray, believe that you have it already, and it will be yours.” Or “As you believe will it be done unto you.”

  • Sometimes you’ve got to rekindle the flame

Sometimes, before we can even get to the part where we’re actively moving towards our dream, we may have to rekindle the flame. This is because a great many people today have been talked out of their dream. They no longer have a grander vision for their lives. And so they have become stuck in whatever their day to day routine happens to be, which might consist of going to work at a job they may not even really like, doing things they’re not really interested in doing, going through the motions with no real passion, with no enthusiasm.

These individuals may have once had a dream. Maybe at one point there was a larger vision for their lives, yet circumstances have caused the flame of passion that was lit in their hearts to go out. Perhaps they don’t even consciously realize it, but they’ve talked themselves out of their Soul’s Calling.

If that is you, I’m here to remind you of what, deep down, you already know: that is not the kind of life you were meant to live!

The life you were meant to live is one filled with overflowing joy and fulfillment! You are here because there is greatness in you that is seeking to be expressed! You are here because you set out to make a difference on this planet! You are here because there are gifts, skills, and talents within you that are seeking to be externalized! You are here because you have something to give, something to share! There is a unique pattern of perfection within you that it seeking to emerge! And your job is to make yourself available to it! Dare to have a vision, and dare to give that vision your sacred yes!

In Buddhism there is a form of “yes” known as tathata. What that means is saying “yes” so completely and so totally that you become one with your “yes.” There is no separation between you and your “yes.” That’s the kind of “yes” we’re talking about here.

And one more thing about your vision – this vision does not care how old you are, or how young you are; it does not care about what mistakes you think you’ve made, or how many opportunities you may have missed. Opportunities are everywhere, possibilities are endless, and age is meaningless in the mind of God.

So, as you may notice, there’s really not a whole lot of room for excuses. Because the truth is, no matter how much time has passed, no matter what past experience you may have had, your vision is right where you left it, and all it awaits is your sacred yes.

Do yourself a favor and give yourself permission to say “yes” to what wants to emerge in your life. You’ll be glad you did.

Be sure to keep an eye out for Part 2 of Dare To Have A Vision, in which we’ll be looking at some ways for how you can identify the larger vision for your life, and how you can make sure you’re on the path of following that vision.

Also, if you found any of this helpful, inspiring, or uplifting, please feel free to share it, or any of the articles on here to help get the word out.

Thanks for reading. And until next time.

Peace and Blessings!
