Once we have said “yes” to a particular dream and are committed to letting it unfold, our next step becomes to release and let go of everything that is not serving us in the fulfillment of our dream.
Here it will serve us well to take some time to become quiet, focus inward and ask, “What do I need to let go of that is no longer serving me? What do I need to release so that I can begin to embody my fullest potential?”
As the answers reveal themselves to us, we may realize that we need to let go of a limiting thought or two; or we may need to release some old habits that are inhibiting us from activating our potential; or maybe we need to reexamine an old belief system.
As we learn to regularly contemplate our lives to see if there’s something that we need to let go of, we are opening ourselves up to cultivating new and more empowering ways of going about our path. We are replacing the lesser with the higher. Essentially, what we are doing is releasing the brakes and allowing ourselves to cruise off into our joyous destiny. We are opening ourselves up to becoming the true artists of life that each and every one of us was born to be.
