Daily Guide For Inspiration: Being In The World, But Not Of The World

JanuaryThemeThere is a timeless and formless dimension within every single one of us. Within this deeper dimension we may find and experience our Real Self. On occasion this Real Self may seem to be blocked out by the “noise” that is happening on the surface level of our lives. Yet as we take some time on a regular basis to become still, to turn inward, to listen with the inner ear, we will find that this deeper dimension is always there. Moreover this deeper part of us has never been harmed, endangered, or diminished in any way. It contains the fullness of All That Is, the totality of the All-Good, and the infinite capacity and potentiality to guide us towards whatever is needed at any moment in our lives. When we live from this deeper dimension, surrendering to its infinite wisdom, listening to the soft sound of its loving voice, we walk in this world with a sense of calm, with a divine confidence that nothing in experiential reality can ever give to us. Perhaps we have simply remembered that, as it has been said, we are to be in this world but not of this world.
