Life in all its wonder and glory is continuously evolving towards greater and greater expressions of itself. We can see this evolutionary process at work everywhere in nature. Ultimately the purpose of Life in its physical form is to give expression to what Browning called the “inner splendor,” that Divine pattern of perfection which is the highest and best, infinite potential fully realized and fully expressed. While all of nature gravitates in this direction, you and I have this thing called free will. And this means we always have a choice. We must make a conscious choice to evolve, we must consciously choose to move in the direction of our highest potential. We do this by letting go of any lesser perceptions, by releasing any unconscious agreements with mediocrity that we may have made. And instead we simply know that All-That-Is is standing by to support us, to guide us and inspire us to become more fully ourselves. So today, surrender to the Divine pattern of perfection for your life. Hold the intention that you are going to set free all of your gifts and talents, and then let your Silent Partner show you the way.
Proper seeing begins with noticing all those areas in our life that are working well. We literally embark on an inquiry where we ask, “What is working in my life? What can I be grateful for?” And as gratitude becomes our dominant vibration, we soon begin to see that we have far more to be grateful for than we may have even realized. The wonderful truth is we can be grateful for both what is wanted as well as what is seemingly unwanted, for hidden in what appears unwanted are opportunities for growth and expansion. So as we see properly we begin to notice even the hidden blessings. We realize that Life is always for us, and that all things are always working together for our good. Today, dwell upon what is working in your life. Let your gratitude be the doorway that guides you into proper seeing, where you will realize with sweet delight that Life truly is magnificent beyond measure.
It seems to me that Unconditional Love must always contain within it some recognition of the fundamental goodness of all Life. When we are loving unconditionally, we have recognized that regardless of appearances and conditions beneath the surface of things all is always well. Rather than judging by appearances, we yield to the recognition of the Divine Presence everywhere. Naturally this requires practice, and the best place to begin is with ourselves. As we learn to love ourselves unconditionally, we create the space within our own awareness that will allow us to love all others unconditionally. After all, every relationship we have is ultimately a reflection of the relationship we have with ourselves. And our relationship with ourselves in turn reflects our relationship with our Source. So today, yield to the spiritual quality of Unconditional Love. Let it take over your life. Let it flood your awareness, and you will experience yourself as who and what you really are—a unique and individualized expression of Limitless Goodness.
The Universe is continuously inviting us to grow and to expand. This is the Divine conspiracy of good that is occurring on our behalf, where we are always given the opportunity to come to know ourselves more fully as who and what we really are. So as we live in that space of knowing that all is always working together for our good—even in those moment where we can’t see it from the limited vantage point of our physical senses—we find we become conscious and willing participants in the everlasting unfolding of the Infinite. Ultimately our purpose is to know ourselves fully and completely as the luminous emanations of light and love that we really are, cosmic beings of infinite proportions, here to reflect and to reveal nothing less than the sacred qualities of the Ineffable. So I invite us to just live in that sweet space of knowing this today. I invite us to live in this joyous expectancy of good without being attached to specifics, and to then let our experience of life unfold from there.
As we find ourselves on this journey through time and space, this trek of constant unfolding and expansion, part of our “job description” is to be willing to always stretch ourselves when it comes to how much good we are willing to let into our lives. The truth is there is no limit to how much good we can experience, and the Universe never withholds anything from us. Yet it all comes down to how much we are capable of receiving. We learn to truly receive as we realize that everything has already been given, and that it’s up to us to recognize and embody this truth. So take time each day to feel deeply into the sacred qualities of love, joy, well-being and harmony that are already within you. Invite these qualities to take over your life. Speak from them, live from them, circulate them—and then allow the Law of Perfect Reflection to mirror them right back to you in the form of your experiences. Remember, life is always lived from the inside out. You must first become in consciousness what you wish to experience in the world of physical phenomena.
When we believe that things, certain situations or other people can make us happy, we have given away our power. When we believe that something has the ability to make us happy, this something also appears to hold the power to make us unhappy. This is living the illusion, deeply caught up in Maya, the temporary play of form. Yet as we go deeper, we realize that nothing in the world of physical phenomena holds any power over us. Nothing has the power to make us happy, and nothing has the power to make us unhappy. Instead, we have all the power and the freedom to bring whatever we choose into every situation and into each encounter. When we bring authenticity and truth, we experience authentic happiness, joy, and a soulful sense of fulfillment—not because of anything in the external, but because we have touched the core and the essence of who we are.
The principle of embrace everything, hold onto nothing, is a principle of non-attachment. In other words, we embrace everything that is happening in our experiential reality—the things we would label good and the things we would label bad—yet we do not hold onto them, meaning we do not cling to them. We are fully aware that everything in the world of physical phenomena is constantly changing, and we are willing to just let it all pass through. This does not make us distant and removed, however; it actually allows us to be more fully present, to feel more connected and at one with all that flows into our lives. We are able to love more fully, without holding onto expectations; we are able to give of ourselves more completely, without holding onto preconceived notions of how our good will flow back to us. We are fully present in the moment, living in that sweet space that allows the highest and best to be revealed to us at all times. Today, practice the principle of embracing everything, yet holding onto nothing. Realize that you live in a loving Universe that is always supporting your growth, expansion, and greatest fulfillment. So say “yes” to it, and allow more of Heaven to break out on earth through and as you.
As we open ourselves to the larger perspective, we begin to catch all those areas where in the past lesser perceptions may have covered our vision of what is truly possible. As we embrace our true identities as luminous beings of light and love, unique emanations of an ineffable Creator-Presence that is in, through, and all around us, our vision naturally broadens. We awaken to the indescribable beauty of Life, we see the richness of opportunity for humanity as a whole to grow out of the infant stages of spiritual evolution, and to enter into the age of spiritual maturity. This maturing process begins in our own individual lives, from where it expands to include more of that vast kaleidoscope of spiritual beauty that makes up the highest possibility for humanity as an expression of the Divine.
All That Is is constantly expanding and revealing more of its infinite nature. Each of us is a unique and individualized expression of All That Is, containing within us the totality of the holographic Whole. As such our nature too is to ever expand and reveal more of our own infinite being. Yet let us be mindful that as we live on this ever-expanding edge we do not seek fulfillment in the future, we don’t get caught in the mistaken notion that something specific has to happen for us to be happy. Instead, we tune into that sweet abundance of joy and fulfillment that is within our very being right here and right now, and out of that flows possibility thinking. We are grateful for where we are and excited about the possibilities for our life. We live in the sweet spot of always complete and ever unfolding.
