Give yourself permission to examine your life, and simply notice any areas in which you may find that you have been holding back. Become aware of any old perceptions that do not line up with your true nature. Then, express gratitude. Be grateful because you have become aware of these old perceptions. You have become conscious enough to notice them, and once you are conscious of them they no longer control you. And in the spirit of gratitude and appreciation, fully aware that you have grown as a result of all your experiences—the ones you’ve labeled good and the ones you’ve labeled bad—choose to simply let go of all that is now no longer serving you. Step into the awareness that nothing has any power over you unless you allow it to, and realize that you can let go of anything you no longer want to hold on to. Today, claim your divine freedom as a free and infinite spirit. Determine to live your highest potential, free from anything that does not serve you when it comes to that. Your experiences invariably shift as you shift your perceptions.

Daily Inspiration: The Fundemental Goodness Of Life
There is a principle at work in the Universe that says that if you push against something, it will push against you. The kind of energy that you put out there is exactly the kind of energy that will be reflected back to you. A profound freedom arises once we are able to give up our need for struggling, once we let go of the mistaken notion that there is something “out there” that is opposed to us, and we instead relax into an awareness of the law of least effort. Rather than resisting the flow of Life, we learn to trust Life. We learn to trust that the Universe is on our side even in those moments where can’t quite see how something will play out. We learn to radiate an open, friendly, and receptive kind of energy, and we invariably find that this energy then comes straight back to us. Just as the acorn seed doesn’t struggle to become an oak tree, so too you can simply give up struggling right here and right now, and replace it with a simple, child-like faith that knows that all the forces and all the laws of Heaven are ready to support you at all times.

When we have the opportunity to observe little children, there comes a delight as we find a sweet sense of innocence, a joyous awareness that all things are possible. Don’t children, as they’re engaged in expressing that playful nature, radiate a powerful enthusiasm that seems to proclaim that all that is needed is imagination and ingenuity in order to create rich new worlds, filled with exciting new possibilities? When we first arrive here in this three-dimensional world of time and space, we are fully in tune with the larger purpose for our lives. On a subjective level we know exactly why we’ve come here, and we know that we are here to do something magnificent. We sense that within us is a Light that is so bright that no seeming darkness can combat it, and that this Light is seeking to express in and through us in a unique way. Today, enter into a child-like awareness that all things are possible with God-consciousness. Determine that you are here to become the embodiment of those sacred dreams in your heart. Live fully, withhold nothing, and watch as the Universe matches up that radiant vibration and nothing is withheld from you.

As we learn to completely and totally embrace and accept ourselves, we create the conditions that will allow for the higher frequencies of Divine Love to transmute any turbulence in our lives into pure magnificence.

Daily Inspiration: Seeing With The Inner Eye
Written and encoded within your very DNA is greatness, perfection, wholeness, well-being and harmony. Within you is Infinite Genius waiting to be recognized, embodied, and expressed. Your potential is infinite. I do not need to know anything about your history, where you came from, or what your past experience has been in order to be certain of this. After all, your past only exists as a memory, just as the future only exists in the imagination. All that matters is right here and right now. So what will you do now? What will you choose now? Will you now choose to express and embody who and what you really are?
Ultimately what it comes down to is a choice between Love and the absence of Love, which is fear. So as you go about your day, ask yourself from time to time, “Right here and right now, am I choosing Love? Or am I choosing fear?” Be aware that this is where it takes some spiritual ingenuity, because fear comes in many disguises. Some of these disguises may seek to convince you that they are not rooted in fear at all. But do not fall for it. Some of fear’s more clever disguises include anger, frustration, doubt, worry, a sense of lack, a feeling of inferiority, or a sense of superiority. All of these are the product of a false sense of separation. And a sense of separation always leads to fear.
But regardless of what form it may take, be aware that fear is never real—separation is never real. Separation is the great error on which all other errors are based. Separation is the absence of proper seeing, just as fear is the absence of Love, and darkness is the absence of light. When you turn on the light, darkness disappears. And when you turn to the everlasting wellspring of Love that is within you seeking to be expressed, you will find that all fear, and all sense of separation, disappears. Love and fear cannot exist in the same space. One cancels out the other. This is why it has been written that perfect Love casts out fear. So today, resist getting caught in the narrow confines of fear-based miss-perceptions. See clearly. See with your Inner Eye. Realize that you are divinely supported, and that as you continuously turn to what is Real, what is Real will become the activity of your awareness.
Affirmation: “Today I see with my Inner Eye and I behold the eternal Presence of Love that is all around me, in me, and through me. Free from all error, free from reacting to error, I allow the Divine Light within to shine with such luminosity that all erroneous perceptions are dissolved in my experience—and only that which is is Real remains.”
Daily Inspiration: You Are Divinely Supported
Today, enter into a conscious realization that you are divinely supported. Realize that you live, move, and have your being in an infinite field of overflowing good. Know that all you could ever need, all you could ever hope for or desire has already been given to you before time began. Your task is to simply accept this marvelous gift, and in so doing you are giving it permission to flow into your experiential reality. So take the leap today and make it your conviction to discard any and all thoughts that are contrary to this. At first it may seem to you that you are ignoring so-called “facts.” But as you stick to your conviction, as you make it your prayerful practice to know only the Truth, you soon find that whatever facts had once seemed so real and solid are revealed as being not quite so solid after all. Facts are never solid but always fluid. Facts are always changing, always in a state of flux. Facts, just like circumstances and conditions, are merely the result of a particular way of thinking. Yes, actions certainly play a role in creating facts, but then again what are actions? Are actions not merely thoughts acted out? And are words not merely thoughts articulated? So we may see here then that everything—with no exception—always begins and ends in our own thought. Change the thought, and the facts will follow.
Affirmation: “I rejoice in the realization that I am divinely supported. I accept that the divine gift has been given, and I freely receive from the everlasting wellspring of the Spirit. I hang out in the realm of eternal gratitude as the facts of my life follow my exalted awareness.”

Welcome to the latest installment of “High Evocations—Calling Forth Your Highest & Best!”
The mission and vision of Awakened Life Now is to help individuals break through the apparent barriers of separation and limitation, so that we may all develop a greater awareness of our true nature which is inherently divine. As we transform our individual lives, we are setting ourselves up to be catalysts in the global transformation that is seeking to happen on this planet at this time in human history. In other words, we are making ourselves available to become contributors in creating a world that works for everyone.
The theme for the month of May explores some of the paradoxical nature of Ultimate Reality in that we are already whole, perfect, and complete beings—regardless of what appears to be happening on the surface level of our lives—while at the same time we are always unfolding, always growing, always evolving to reveal more of our inherent completeness. Being of service is a way of life. When we look for opportunities to serve, we are sending a powerful message to the Universe that says we have and we are willing to give. So we move out of the have-not-and-getting-mindset into the all-needs-met-and-giving-mentality. And the more we give, the more we open ourselves up to receive since giving and receiving are two sides of the same coin. A life of service also breaks down the barriers of separation. Ultimately we can only ever serve the One. And as we serve the One, we come to find that regardless of what form it may take at any given moment, One is really all there ever is, fully present anywhere we look, within or without. Today, look for opportunities to give of yourself. Withhold nothing. Give freely. Realize that what you do for another you are also doing for your Self, because in truth there is only ever One of us.

We are always calling something forth. This is a constant. The reason is that we are creative beings, and we are creating with our every thought, word, and action. As we climb the ladder of awareness, we inevitably go from creating by default to becoming conscious co-creators with God. When we realize our true creative power, it serves us well to make calling forth the highest and best a priority. Today, withdraw from the reactionary nature of the surface mind, and enter into the awareness that you have the ability to consciously shape each and every moment of your life. Enter into every interaction, into each moment with the realization that you are an ambassador of the Divine, and that you are here to shine the light of love upon everything and everyone you encounter. See only the highest and best, and watch as the divine light within you transforms everything into a sacred song of love.
